This information is being made available to assist potential “walk up” shippers (shippers who are not committed shippers on the Pony Express Pipeline) to prepare to nominate and ship on Pony Express.
In order for Pony Express to consider a nomination to ship as a walk up shipper on Pony Express, potential walk up shippers are asked to submit the following information:
- A nomination. The nomination schedule will be posted and updated on the EBB at the appropriate time. All nominations must identify (i) the tariff under which shipment is proposed (Belle Fourche-Pony Express joint tariff, Hiland-Pony Express joint tariff or Pony Express local tariff), (ii) the month for which the nomination is applicable, (iii) the quantity to be shipped (nominations for less than 10,000 barrels per month will not be considered), (iv) the common stream quality of the barrels to be shipped (common stream characteristics are available elsewhere on this bulletin board), and (v) the receipt and delivery points per the applicable tariff. - Credit Support. Prior to nomination, potential walk up shippers are asked to provide credit support as determined acceptable by Pony Express. A credit information form is available on this EBB. For credit questions, please contact Customer Credit at CustomerCredit@tallgrassenergylp.com. Potential shippers are encouraged to arrange credit at the earliest possible time. PXP will only consider nominations for which credit arrangements have been made prior to nomination, or for nominations accompanied by an acceptable Letter of Credit or full prepayment.
- A Material Safety Data Sheet (“MSDS”). Nominations must be accompanied by the appropriate MSDS unless the necessary information is already on file. Nominations lacking the appropriate MSDS will not be considered.
- Line fill contribution. The proper pro rata line fill share is estimated to be about 27% of a monthly walk up nomination. Shippers whose nominations are accepted will be expected to tender 127% of the confirmed monthly nomination at start up in order to receive the nominated quantity of delivered barrels for the month. Line fill contribution should be discussed with Steven Kelley at steven.kelley@tallgrassenergylp.com at the time of nomination.
- All nominations for walk up transportation service, if accepted by Pony Express during a prorationing month, are binding nominations and constitute an obligation to ship and / or to pay for shipment as accepted by Pony Express.
