PAWS Program Description
PAWS Program Overview
|
TIGT’s Rate Schedule PAWS (Pooling and Wheeling Service) became effective July 1, 2017. The PAWS service makes it possible for the aggregation,
transportation and balancing of gas supplies within hubs developed on the TIGT system. As of July 1, 2017 and October 1, 2017, respectively,
TIGT offers Pooling and Wheeling Service at the Cheyenne Hub and Pooling Service at the Wyoming Hub. To request PAWS service, which may be used
at any of the active hubs, customers may submit a Service Request (see the “Forms” heading in the menu to the left) to TIGT via Email at
TEP@tallgrassenergylp.com. There is no charge for maintaining an active PAWS contract; charges will only apply when natural gas is nominated and
scheduled on the contract.
|
Pooling
|
Pooling Service consists of the transportation of natural gas from a physical point within a specific hub to the pooling point included in that hub.
Pooling Service is scheduled as an interruptible service. Because pooling involves the aggregation of gas supply at the pooling point, and not the
physical delivery of natural gas, no charge will be assessed for Pooling Service. Customers will also not be assessed any ACA, fuel or lost and
unaccounted-for charges. Pool activity must be balanced.
|
Wheeling
|
Wheeling Service consists of the transportation of natural gas from a physical point or a pooling point within a specified hub to a physical point
located within that hub. Wheeling is scheduled as an interruptible service. Customers will be assessed a transportation charge equal to the approved
rate for interruptible transportation service for the zone in which the relevant hub is located. Customers will also be assessed ACA, fuel and lost
and unaccounted-for charges. See the “Hubs/Rates” heading in the menu to the left. Discounted rates, if any, will be posted under the “Hubs/Rates”
heading and will automatically be granted. |
Cheyenne Hub
|
Effective July 1, 2017, TIGT is offering Pooling and Wheeling Service at the Cheyenne Hub. The Cheyenne Hub consists of several points of interconnection
between TIGT and the natural gas transportation systems of other entities, which are all located within close proximity to one another. The Cheyenne Hub
also includes an associated logical pooling point: PIN 60314 – TIGT CHEYENNE POOL. For scheduling purposes, the pooling point is located at the most
downstream point among member points at the hub. The Cheyenne Hub, including its member physical points and pooling point, is identified under the “Hubs/Rates”
heading in the menu to the left.
|
Wyoming Hub
|
Effective October 1, 2017, TIGT is offering Pooling Service at the Wyoming Hub. The Wyoming Hub consists of multiple points that create an aggregation pool for natural gas tendered
at the specified receipt points located upstream of the third-party straddle processing plants located on the TIGT system in the state of Wyoming. Natural gas tendered at the
receipt points within the Wyoming Hub shall be subject to Section 23.B of the General Terms and Conditions of TIGT’s FERC Gas Tariff (Gas Processing), as applicable.
The Wyoming Hub also includes an associated logical pooling point: PIN 60322 – TIGT WYOMING POOL. For scheduling purposes, the pooling point is located at the most downstream point
among member points at the hub. The Wyoming Hub, including its member physical points and pooling point, is identified under the “Hubs/Rates” heading in the menu to the left.
